Vaccines protect not only yourself but others around you. Vaccines protect not only individuals but entire communities. That is why vaccines are vital to the public health goal of preventing diseases.
Below are the "Recommended Immunization Schedules" for ages 0-19 years and adults.
The following is the recommended immunization schedule based on age:
Birth or 1 month = #1 Hep B
2 months = #1 DTaP / #1 Polio / #1 HIB / #1 PCV / #1 ROTA
4 months = #2 DTaP / #2 Polio / #2 HIB / #2 PCV / #2 ROTA
6 months = #3 Hep B / #3 DTap / #3 HIB / #3 PCV / #3 ROTA
12-15 months = #4 HIB / #4 PCV / #1 MMR / #1 VARI
15-18 months = #4 DTaP / #3 Polio / #2 VARI / #1 Hep A
18-24 months = #2 Hep A
4-6 years = #6 DTaP / #4 Polio / #2 MMR
11-19 years = #1 TD/TDAP* / #1 HPV / #1 MEN
* Td = Tetanus/Diphtheria to be given every 10 years
Other immunizations at GMA include: flu vaccine, pneumovax, etc.
