Behavioral Health Providers help with habits, behaviors, stress, or emotional concerns that get in the way of daily life and/or overall health.

    • Depression

    • Anxiety or Worries

    • Substance Use

    • Family/Relationship problems

    • Stress

    • Grief

    • Anger

    We also can help you learn new coping strategies and decrease symptoms associated with medical problems such as:

    • Pain

    • Sleep

    • Headaches

    • Obesity

    • Diabetes

    • High Blood Pressure

    • Asthma

    • Irritable Bowel Syndrome

  • Patients of Glacier Medical Associates with identified physical, behavioral or emotional concerns who are interested in getting help.

  • In general, individual appointments will be 45 minutes.

    You will be asked to talk about physical symptoms, emotional concerns, and behaviors to help identify goals to work toward in counseling.

  • Discuss your concerns with your PCP, who can connect you with our social worker. The provider can often meet with you on the same day as your appointment with the PCP and schedule a time to talk more extensively about your concerns.

  • Please consult your policy to determine how counseling services are covered under your plan, GMA will bill your insurance. The following insurance plans cover our services:
