At Glacier Medical Associates we know that timely, accurate test results are an important part of excellent care. That’s why we operate our own on-site laboratory, certified to perform both CLIA-waived and moderate complexity testing.

Types of Testing We Offer
Our laboratory can perform a wide range of testing, including:
CLIA-waived tests such as rapid strep, influenza, COVID-19 antigen, urine dipstick, and blood glucose checks.
Moderate complexity testing such as complete blood counts (CBC), comprehensive metabolic panels (CMP), lipid profiles, and other diagnostic panels that provide a deeper look into your health.

When We Send Tests to an Outside Lab
While we perform most testing on-site, there are times when certain tests are sent to Labcorp or another reference laboratory — particularly when your insurance coverage makes that the most affordable option for you. This ensures you receive the same quality results while keeping your out-of-pocket costs as low as possible. Our staff will review your insurance coverage and let you know when sending your test to an outside lab could save you money.
Whether it’s a quick screening or more detailed laboratory analysis, our in-house testing — combined with our partnerships with trusted reference labs — helps your care team get the answers they need to guide your treatment, all with your convenience and cost in mind.
